Wild Flowers from Umbria

Hello everyone!
Those of you who follow me on Instagram, that I just come from a week in Italy with my family. We stayed in Umbria, to be precise, in a village called Massa Martana – I could never remember the name and always said Tikka Massala ;). The house with stayed at is called Casale del Gallo was truly magical and big enough to fit 12 people. I will show you the house in another post. Today I wanted to show you some of the bouquets I made during our stay only using wild flowers growing in the property: sweet peas, scabiosa, queen anne’s lace, wild mint, clover. The variety was breathtaking, and I was really not expecting finding so much beautiful flowers in this region especially in August!
I wish you a great day! Talk to you soon with more impressions of our italian holiday.
xoxo

A lovely bouquet from the forest

flowers form the forest_2

Hello!
Here is a little bouquet I kept for you as a little holiday souvenir. I made it during an evening walk in the Jura with my husband, while Ella was already asleep and my parents in law looking after her.
Everytime I went for a walk, I decided on a colour – I love monochrome bouquets – or on a a combination of colours. I love blue and yellow together. My mum’s favourite colours.
This bouquet is made of:

  • Buttercup
  • Veronica
  • Edelflower
  • Colombine
  • Daisiy

Wild flowers in Spain #1

Dear all,

Those following me on Instagram, know that I just come back from a great holiday on the Costa Brava in Spain. The weather was not great but we had a very relaxing time. One of my highlights were of course the flowers. The variety of wild species, growing on the side of the road is huge! The roads were quite narrow and it was not very easy to park on the side, but Mr. Love and myself organised a little “blogspedition” to collect some flowers. I will show you some of the flowers and plants we found in this post and the bouquet in the next one.
I hope you will like them!
